Øyvind is currently investigating the possibility of using Diffusive Gradients in Thin-Films technique for monitoring of inorganic pollutants during high-flow events in rivers and streams. This project is financed by a grant from the Natural Environment Research Council and directed by the Environmental Science Department and the Centre for Sustainable Water Management.
